Genuine tanned horse leather for clothing that only becomes complete as it ages
High-quality European rawhide is tanned thoroughly in a pit layer, then the surface is finished with a clothing finish (pigment). Over time, the surface is rubbed off and the underlying color appears. This is a genuine clothing horsehide. It's vegetable tanned leather .
As you wear it, the unique texture of the genuine tanned leather will make it become more comfortable to wear.
It is often used for leather jackets and is adopted by a variety of manufacturers.
Because it is painted (pigment finished) , among the horse leathers handled by Hashimoto Sangyo, it is the easiest to handle and scratches are least noticeable.
