After spraying the dye by hand, the dye is wiped off by hand.
The resulting color shading resembles the unevenness of a brush stroke, and the deep color characteristic of oil cordovan.
The contrast has been further enhanced.
Shinki Leather's cordovan is made using a pit tanning process, and as it takes a longer time to produce than other leathers, it is a rare material that is difficult to mass-produce.
