Shonan Leather Company is one of the few companies in Japan that uses tannin tanning in pits.
The paper has been skived to a thickness of approximately 2.5 mm and embossed to give it a high yield.
This is a round dyeing process, not a core dyeing process. (The cross section is ecru.)
